The Editorial group of Medical Oncology welcomes submissions to a new Section for the journal “Perspectives in Oncology”. Perspectives in Oncology will provide a forum for authors to explore personal viewpoints across a wide variety of subjects of interest throughout the field of Oncology. Topics along the translational spectrum from theory to basic science to clinical medicine to societal impact are welcome. Articles should explore new ideas or present hypotheses to move the field forward. Perspective articles should not be comprehensive review articles but rather should present the author’s view of new ways to think about concepts in the Oncologic sciences or cancer treatment. Articles may include original data if supportive of the concepts. All articles will be peer-reviewed and will have a word limit 10,000 words with up to 100 references and include up to 10 figures.
