Abstract

Several recent studies have demonstrated that cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT) are effective in the treatment of chronic pain in children, particularly children with headache. This article describes a CBT program for children and adolescents suffering from recurrent headache, a population that also may present with comorbid anxiety and depression.
