Summary

The formation of astatide-mercury complexes was investigated in aqueous solutions.<span style='font-size:12.0pt'>The obtained complexes were examined by paper electrophoresis. It was<span lang=EN-GB style='font-size:12.0pt;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>found that Hg(OH)At and Hg(OH)I complexes were formed in neutral solution. The stability constants of the obtained complexes were determined by ion-exchange. The preliminary results indicate that the complex of mercury with astatide is much more stable than similar complexes with iodide.
