  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

A new dihydrochalcone, phloridzin-5′-(1′′,4′′-butyrolactam) (1), was isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Malus pumila Mill. The structure was established by spectroscopic analyses including 1D and 2D NMR (1H, 13C, COSY, HMBC, and HSQC) and HR-EI-MS and comparison with the data of known analogues.
