A New Sesquiterpenoid from the Fruiting Bodies of Amauroderma amoiensis

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

A new sesquiterpenoid, named amoienacid (1), was isolated from the n-BuOH extract of the fruiting bodies of Amauroderma amoiensis. Its structure was elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR spectra as well as HR-ESI-MS data. The new isolate exhibited anti-acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity with the percentage inhibition of 36.3% at a concentration of 100 μM.
