Chemical Constituents of Balanophora involucrata

A new (S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl ester of dihydrochalcone glucoside, together with 15 known compounds, was isolated from Balanophora involucrata Hook. Their chemical structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral data. To the best of our knowledge, compounds 1, 2, and 7–11 were isolated from this plant for the first time.
