We compare the predictions of the FRANEC and CESAM stellar evolutionary codes for selected physical quantities used as input parameters in current asteroseismological calculations. The agreement is satisfactory but the effect of the remaining small discrepancies on the predicted oscillation frequencies should be carefully evaluated.
