Zusammenfassung

Bei schwerstem Trauma der unteren Extremität stellt sich nicht selten die Frage der Erfolgswahrscheinlichkeit eines Extremitätenerhalts. Objektive Kriterien sollen bei der Entscheidungsfindung helfen. Im Folgenden demonstrieren wir aus der klinischen Praxis einer universitären unfallchirurgischen Klinik drei Fallberichte von Patienten mit schwerstem Trauma der unteren Extremität mit jeweils unterschiedlicher Herangehensweise.

Abstract

Following severe lower extremity injury, the potential outcome of a salvage procedure might often be questionable. Objective criteria should help in decision-making. From the clinical practice of a level I trauma center, we demonstrate three case reports and approaches following severe lower extremity injury.
