Tuberculosis miliaris ulcerosa mucosae

Zusammenfassung

Ein 36-jähriger Patient in reduziertem Allgemeinzustand wurde zur diagnostischen Abklärung eines seit mehreren Monaten bestehenden schmerzhaften Ulkus an der Zungenspitze stationär aufgenommen. Der Tuberkulin-Tine-Test war positiv. In Sputum, Magensaft sowie in Ulkusabstrichen wurde kulturell Mycobacterium tuberculosis nachgewiesen. Wir führten eine orale antituberkulöse Therapie durch, unter der es innerhalb von 2 Monaten zu einer vollständigen Abheilung des Zungenulkus kam.

Abstract

A 36-year-old patient in poor general health presented with a painful lesion on the tip of his tongue. He reported having the lesion for several months. Tuberculin tine test was positive and Mycobacterium tuberculosis was detected culturally in tracheal lavage, gastric aspirate, and ulcers swabs. Within two months of oral anti-tuberculosis therapy, complete healing of the ulcer was observed.
