A re-examination of circulating gastrin and secretin levels in the human newborn

  • Published:
Irish Journal of Medical Science Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Plasma gastrin and secretin concentrations have been measured in umbilical cord and maternal blood at delivery. The physiological roles and some of the problems with measurement of these hormones is discussed.
