Neonatal gastric perforation

Report of 3 cases with one survival

Summary

Three newborns with gastric perforation are reported. A fullterm baby in whom no aetiological factor could be attributed, survived without surgical intervention. Two other premature babies died; one of them had signs of septicaemia. The possible aetiological factors are discussed.
