Summary
The synergistic effect is investigated in mixed gas chromatographic stationary phases containing dibenzo-18-crown-6 +MPBHpB [o-methyl-p-phenylene-bis-(p-heptoxy benzoate)], [o-methyl-p-phenylene-bis-(p-heptoxy benzoate)], with benzene/cyclohexane, cyclokexanes, phenols, alcohols and aniline derivatives as sample compounds pairs. Some of the separations reveal positive or negative synergistic effect. This effect depends on the temperature, the mixing ratio and the linear velocity of the carrier gas.
