Summary
Effects of Ovulen-21, Demulen, Enovid-E and Ovral on zinc and copper levels in human plasma and endometrium during the menstrual cycle have been studied. Both plasma and endometrium copper levels were significantly elevated above the control values (P < 0.001) in women taking oral contraceptives while the zinc levels remained reasonable constant.
