È stata evidenziata una correlazione fra caratteristiche istochimiche e composizione biochimica del mesenchima e l'instaurarsi del differenziamento dell'epitelio nella cute di pollo sia in vitro, in espianti prelevati al 6° giorno di incubazione e mantenuti in terreno nutritizio contente siero, che in vivo.
