Phase transitions in the statistical bootstrap model with an internal symmetry

Abstract

The connection between the statistical bootstrap model with an arbitrary symmetry group and the thermodynamical description of hadronic matter is considered. A relationship is given between an internal symmetry and the appearence of a multiphase structure.
