Summary

The principles of the diagnosis of aneurysms of the thoracic aorta are described on the basis of 61 observations of the authors' from 1959 to the beginning of 1970. The indications for selective angiographs by Seldinger's method and for angiocardiography after transseptal puncture are presented by quoting some typical case reports.

Es wird über die Prinzipien in der Diagnostik thorakaler Aortenaneurysmen aufgrund von 61 eigenen Beobachtungen aus den Jahren 1959 bis Anfang 1970 berichtet. Die Indikation zur selektiven Angiographie nach der Seldinger-Methode bzw. Angiokardiographie nach transseptaler Punktion wird an einzelnen typischen Fällen dargestellt.
