Abstract

Four hundred twenty-four cases are investigated by electronystagmography, using culmination frequency as parameter. These consist of 105 cases in control group and 319 in abnormal group. Evaluation is done for smooth pendular stimulus tracking, sponteneous nystagmus and bithermal caloric test. The ranges of normality are statistically established from the control group. The behaviour of the abnormal group is assessed in relation to the normal ranges. A few representative cases are discussed.
