Zusammenfassung

Scythrops novaehollandiae: Sehr selten im westlichen Teil der Insel. Als Wirte ließen sich nachweisen:Corvus florensis (fütterte Junges vonScythrops) undCorvus m. macrorhynchos.

Eudynamys scolopacea malayana: überall häufig. WirtCorvus m. macrorhynchos, anscheinend nichtCorvus florensis, obgleich im gleichen Biotop und zur gleichen Jahreszeit brütend.

Chalcites malayanus subsp.: neu für Flores nachgewiesen. Bisher einziger WirtGerygone fusca sulphurea.

Cacomantis variolosus sepulcralis: überall häufig. Bei weitem bevorzugter Wirt istSaxicola caprata fruticola.

Centropus bengalensis sarasinorum: sehr häufig. Nester in der fürCentropus typischen Weise in hohem Grase oder Gebüsch. Vogelgelege meist aus 3 Eiern. 4er und 2er Gelege selten.

Hosts ofScythrops novaehollndiae areCorvus florensis (feeding young ofScythrops) andCorvus m. macrorhynchos (favorite). Very rare in the westernmost part of the island.

Eudynamys scolopacea malayana common all over the island. HostCorvus m. macrorhynchos. No host records concerningCorvus florensis, breeding in the same environment and at the same time.

Chalcites malayanus subsp. previously unknown from Flores. Common all over the island in dense bamboo thickets. Often heard but very seldom seen. The only host recordedGerygone fusca sulphurea.

Cacomantis variolosus sepulcralis common all over the island. The most frequent victim isSaxicola caprata fruticola. Another sylvine or timaline victim with a domed nest was impossible to determine.

Centropus bengalensis sarasinorum very common. TypicalCentropus nests in high grass. The complete clutch consists of three eggs. Sets of four or only two eggs are rare.
