Die thermische Zersetzung liefert u.a. Azoverbindungen (z. B.12).
Abstract
Condensation of orthoformic esters with asymmetric diarylhydrazines affords 1.1.5.5-tetraphenyl-1.1.2.4.5-tetraaza-pentenes. Their dehydrogenation with PbO2 results in bluish-green free radicals, oxydation in acidic solution leeds to diaza-trimethinedyes, while thermal decomposition gives rise to azo compounds. The absorption-and ESR-spectra are related to the structure of the compounds.
