Summary
1. A new species, Lemuricola malayensis, is described from Nycticebus coucang in Malaya.
2. The species is most similar to L. nycticebi (Baylis, 1928) nov. comb. and differs in small tooth-like structures on the anterior end of the oesophagus and the form of the clasper-like organs flanking the cloacal opening.
3. Protenterobius Inglis, 1961 is a synonym of Lemuricola Chabaud and Petter, 1959 which now contains three species: L. contagiosus, L. malayensis and L. nycticebi.
