Abstract
In this chapter, details account of decision support system (DSS) has been given. DSS is a computer-based interactive system that has the capacity to address a problem concerning plant protection with the proficiency of an expert. In spite of many advantages, the rate of adaptation of the system by farm managers is low and restricted to selective crops. The reasons have been probed, and the future scope of the system has been predicted. A model structure of DSS is presented here with example.
