Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Thyroid

Abstract

Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is an essential technique for the diagnosis and management of thyroid lesions. FNAC helps in the selection of cases for further surgical excision. This chapter discusses the FNAC of the various thyroid lesions, along with the differential diagnosis.
