Abstract

Mass production of quality food has been an issue for the global world. The population of the world is increasing in an alarming way and their impact can be felt especially on the developing and poor countries world over. Employing modern methods and technologies in the field of agriculture may ensure mass production of crop without compromising on the quality factor. This research paper provides an overview of various Internet of things (IoT) monitoring devices in the field of smart agriculture. The paper highlights the key points which can be fine-tuned to improve the overall performance of monitoring devices thereby given key inputs for the mass production of quality crop.
