Abstract

After going through this chapter, the readers can understand as to why sample study is more efficient than the population study. Further, one can learn different kinds of probability and non-probability sampling techniques used in research. Often, the research scholars are in dilemma as to what should be the sample size; hence, this issue has been discussed based on the cost and accuracy considerations by using the examples. A detailed discussion has been made on types of data and data collection methods in psychological research.
