Abstract

Long-term stability test of Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detector has been carried out. We have studied the variation of the gain of a triple-GEM detector as a function of the relative humidity. The uniformity of gain over the entire surface of the detector has also been studied measuring the anode current. The details of the measurement process and the experimental results are presented.
