About the authors

Junping Qiu is Director of the Research Center for China Science Evaluation, and Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Information Management at Wuhan University. His research interests include scientometrics, informetrics, scientific evaluation, quality management, knowledge management and competitive intelligence. He is a respected information scientist and evaluation management expert as well as one of the main founders of  bibliometrics in China.
