Abstract

Cancer bioinformatics is applying “informatics” techniques derived from disciplines such as computer science, applied mathematics, informatics, and statistics to understand and organize the information associated with cancer biology. The large-scale and multilevel omics-based biology researches, including genome, transcriptome, proteome, metabolome, phenome, and interactome, are the main contents of cancer bioinformatics in the age of post genomics.
