Abstract
In spite of the title, this paper will address issues about the possible similarities and differences between what has initially been designated as 5-HTB5-HTIDand 5-HT,-like receptors, since in view of recent cloning work on 5-HTB5-HTpa5-HTI„ß5-HTFand 5-HT5 receptors, these entities cannot be easily separated in a variety of species.
