Part of the book series: Law, Governance and Technology Series ((LGTS,volume 6))

Abstract

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag is based on a principle defined and developed more than 70 years ago. Even if this basic principle is not new, it has recently triggered growing activities and concerns as some new technological trends are now facilitating its massive adoption.
