Zusammenfassung

Körperliches Training vor selektiven operativen Eingriffen kann zur Erhöhung der Leistungsfähigkeit, der Lebensqualität und zur Reduzierung von postoperativen Komplikationen insbesondere bei leistungseingeschränkten Patienten beitragen. Die Trainingstherapie sollte individualisiert und frühzeitig durchgeführt werden. Ziel sollte die Verbesserung der körperlichen Leistungsfähigkeit und die Anstoßung von regenerativen Gewebsprozessen sein.
