Zusammenfassung
Die Pathogenese der chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen ist multifaktoriell und bislang nur unvollständig verstanden. Das vorliegende Kapitel soll dazu dienen, dieses komplexe Netzwerk zwischen Genetik, intestinaler Mikrobiota, intestinaler Barriere sowie dem angeborenen und erworbenen Immunsystem in Bezug auf chronisch-entzündliche Darmerkrankungen darzustellen. Ziel des Kapitels ist es einen Überblick zu geben, für eine tiefere Einsicht wird an mehreren Stellen auf weiterführende Übersichtsartikel verwiesen.
