Darmkrebs – Prävalenz, Bedeutung und Implikationen für die Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung

Zusammenfassung

Darmkrebs ist eine der häufigsten Tumorerkrankungen weltweit. Männer sind häufiger und auch früher betroffen. Das deutsche Darmkrebsscreeningprogramm besteht seit 2002. 50- bis 54-Jährige haben einen jährlichen Anspruch auf einen quantitativen immunologischen Test zum Nachweis von nicht sichtbarem Blut im Stuhl (iFOBT). Der Gemeinsame Bundesausschuss (GBA) hat nunmehr am 19. Juli 2018 eine umfangreiche neue „Richtlinie für organisierte Krebsfrüherkennungsprogramme“ mit einem besonderen Teil für das Darmkrebs-Screening beschlossen. Hier hat der GBA mit der Absenkung des Alters bei Männern von 55 auf 50 Jahre Expertenforderungen bei der Inanspruchnahme der Vorsorgekoloskopie auf der Basis neuer wissenschaftlicher Daten umgesetzt. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Bestandteil der Reform ist die Einführung eines organisierten Screeningprogramms, in dem Anspruchsberechtigte eine regelmäßige Einladung zur Darmkrebsfrüherkennung und die damit verbundenen Untersuchungen erhalten. Wirksam sind die Neuregelungen seit 1. Juli 2019.
