Phasmids are generally absent; amphids are postlabial and variable in shape, cephalic organs setiform to papilloid; setae and hypodermal glands usually present, hypodermal cells uninucleate; excretory organ, if present, single-celled; caudal glands mostly present; usually two testes in males; cuticle four-layered.
