Zusammenfassung

Frieden und Dialog werden gemeinhin als eng miteinander verbunden wahrgenommen. Wo Menschen in der Lage sind, einander zuzuhören und unterschiedliche Meinungen und Wahrnehmungen respektieren können, gibt es gute Chancen für eine friedliche Beilegung von Konflikten. Es ist deshalb naheliegend, dass immer dann, wenn Konflikte zu eskalieren drohen, sei es in der Form heftiger verbaler Auseinandersetzungen oder der Androhung von Gewalt, wohlmeinende Akteure an die Parteien appellieren, sich auf einen ernsthaften Dialog einzulassen.
