Zusammenfassung

Die Form des Magens und seine Lage im Bauchraum hängen u.a. vom Füllungszustand, vom Tonus der Magen- und Bauchdeckenmuskulatur und von Form und Lage der Nachbarorgane ab. Im Röntgenbild zeigt er meist eine Hakenform und mehr oder weniger senkrechte Lage. Anfangsteil ist die Kardia, die einen nur etwa 1 cm breiten Saum bildet. Sie leitet in den Fundus (Fornix) über; er liegt etwas dorsolateral der Auflagefläche des Herzens auf dem Zwerchfell. Auf ihn folgen das Korpus, der Angulus und das Antrum, das mit dem präpylorischen Antrum in die Pylorusregion übergeht. Der Muskelwulst des Pylorus markiert die Grenze zum Duodenum, die Magenschleimhaut kann sich noch ein kleines Stück in den Bulbus duodeni hinein fortsetzen (⊳ S.183). Links liegt die große, rechts die kleine Kurvatur. Der Knick im Bereich der kleinen Kurvatur, der etwa die Grenze zwischen der Schleimhaut vom Pylorus- und vom Korpus-/ Fundustyp bildet, heißt Incisura angularis.
