Abstract
Most natural hazards are intricately tied to global developments, whether they be climatically-based or influenced, as is the case with storms, floods, wildland fires and droughts; geophysically-based, as is the case with earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions, or biologically-based, as is the case with human, exotic plant and animal diseases.
