Abstract
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide [1]. In the USA alone, 239,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013 and 30,000 will die of the disease. Overall, 1 in every 6 men in the USA will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime, and over 2.6 million men are currently living with the diagnosis [2]. Well-established risk factors for the prostate cancer are increasing age, African ancestry, and family history in a first-degree relative.
