Abstract

There is an increased interest regarding the use of heat, either alone or together with radiotherapy or chemotherapy, in treating patients having cancer.

The work presents a heating tissue technique using microwaves at frequencies of 2.45GHz. After a brief description of the equipment and method, the obtained results by making the non invasive temperature measurements are presented.
