While this is beneficial, organizations can still conduct an internal assessment to understand the performance maturity using an excellence model. This chapter will first discuss the broad concept of self-assessment, the benefits of undertaking this assessment. In addition, the chapter will also guide through steps involved in planning and taking a self-assessment in a diverse and multicultural organization.
