Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to propose a new kind of P systems on simplicial complexes with membrane coefficients (SS P system). We extend the basic membrane structures on complexes. Four classes of communication rules based on chain structure and edge operation are also provided. The computational completeness of the new P system is proved by simulation of register machine. A document clustering problem is used to verify the effectiveness of SS P systems. It also provides a new thought to the clustering of documents. Since document clustering has great significance in document summarization and computer science. Comparison result between SS P systems and other P systems shows comparative advantage of our new P system.
