Abstract
In 1980s Ichimura, Austern and Vincent [Phys. Rev. C 32 431 (1985)] proposed a theory to calculate the inclusive breakup cross sections. Using the finite range DWBA version of this theory, we have performed calculations for the \(^{118}\)Sn(d, pX) inclusive breakup reaction, and compared with available data in order to assess the applicability of the theory.
