Abstract
Due to the necessary of having a systematic and disciplined approach to attack the root and not just to manage symptoms; methodologies have been developed from the vast literature of tools for the solution of problems. This chapter will focus on assessing the troubleshooting methodology on a Lean environment, especially with the use of A3 Problem Report. The Lean methodologies approach shall be submitted in the first section of this chapter, which allows characterizing each of them, in the second section it takes the self-assessment proposed by the ISO 9004 standard and a case is presented in the third section.
