Between Eternities of Light

Abstract

A dialogue between Sarouk and Mensa outlining the acceleration of evolution on a scale which seems long, but which is changing nonlinearly. Mensa remembers what life was like before technology changed the species into Homo futuro. It took billions of years before the all-pervading light of the universe formed planets, which then took hundreds of millions of years to evolve into to organisms, plants, and animals. But, then just thousands of years after that to reflect into ourselves, to see ourselves as humans and to ponder our origins. Mensa bemoans that this cosmic construction of humankind will someday vanish, and once again, we will become one with the all-pervading light of the Universe.
