Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Complex Terrain/Model Development (CTMD) program is a multi-year study to develop, evaluate, and refine models for calculating ground-level air pollutant concentrations that result from large emission sources located in mountainous terrain. Presently, the focus of the program is to develop models for simulating one-hour average plume impingement concentrations during stable atmospheric conditions.
