Abstract
The patient and surgical site were identified and marked. The patient underwent anesthesia per the anesthesia team. The patient was placed in the supine position on the operating table and all pressure points were padded. A tourniquet was placed on the thigh over a soft roll. Intravenous antibiotics were administered. The left/right lower extremity was prepped and draped in the standard sterile fashion. The extremity was exsanguinated and the tourniquet was inflated to 300 mmHg.
