Abstract

Drip-type evaporative coolers have many uses, from apartments, rooms, residences, house trailers, and small business establishments to thousands of larger buildings, including supermarkets, churches, and small factories. Most commercial and industrial enterprises, however, prefer systems requiring less attention and maintenance, even though first cost and power consumption are greater. Slinger-type, sprayed-pad, and rotary-pad evaporative coolers will be discussed in order.
