Abstract

Ibn Kammūna (d. 1284 c.) was a polymath of Jewish origin, whose main works are devoted to philosophy and comparative religion. A commentator of Avicenna and Suhrawardī, he also compiled the doctrines of Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, with whom he had a scientific and philosophical correspondence.
