Abstract

Trends in housing are divided into four main sections.

  1. 1.

The size of the housing stock at successive points in time, and its relation to the population — for example, its density of occupation in terms of persons per room.

  2. 2.

The age, structural condition, tenure and available amenities of dwellings at successive points in time.

  3. 3.

    The rate of building.

  4. 4.

    Aspects of housing finance.
