Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to provide a compact overview of work done by others relating to the topics presented in this volume. We first discuss work relating to the topic of view synthesis from real images (image-based rendering). We then give a broader overview of related work in stereo vision. The chapter concludes by providing a list of books on computer vision and related areas.
