Abstract
The isothermal crystallization process of polymers from the glass can be studied in real time bydielectric spectroscopyand X-rayscattering experiments. The combination of these two techniques aims to reveal a complete picture of the crystallization processes as far as both, the amorphous and the crystalline phases are concerned. In this contribution we will show that byusing this experimental approach, information can be obtained about three key aspects of the isothermal polymer crystallization process: i) polymer chain ordering, through Wide Angle X-ray Scattering; ii) lamellar crystals arrangement,through Small Angle X-ray Scattering; iii) amorphous phase evolution through dielectric spectroscopy.
